Etiquette Matters

 In Youth

JASMYN ST. HILAIRE

Since doing the EDGE program I have graduated from George Brown College, majoring in Fashion Management, and received one of the highest awards for my campus. I have had a dress featured in Elle magazine, A Wine Bottle and Toronto Fashion Week. I worked as a black student advocate at George Brown College, to ensure that black students were receiving correct guidance and care, during their College experience. One of the best things I learned at the EDGE, was etiquette…which makes me laugh because I don’t think my table manners were particularly bad, but when I go to lunch meetings and events with stakeholders of my organization; Mrs. Maureen is always in my head as if the class was yesterday, reminding me how to eat soup and a bun properly.  2014 Debutante Jasmyn St. Hilaire
