EMMA RODNEY:

Hi, my name is Emma Rodney and I participated in YDP (what is now called the EDGE program) in 2013. During the time that I participated in the program, I learned a lot of useful tools that I still use to this day, specifically public speaking and etiquette. I did not know it at the time, but the program helped me to build more confidence in myself for situations that I would encounter in the future. Presently, I am finishing my undergraduate degree at Brock University for Child and Youth Studies and plan on going into Social Work next year. My overall goal is to be a social worker, but to also have a community centre where I can help others and pass on the same essential skills that I learned in this program. 2013 Debutante Emma Rodney.
